PADI  SCUBA DIVING COURSE

We have been training divers for more than 30 years and now there is a fast, easy programme just right for you! This is your chance to pull on a mask and fins and experience the adventure of diving. The PADI scuba diving course is perfect for holidaymakers and anyone who want to dive a few times each year.

The PADI scuba diving course is a part of the PADI open water and in just three days you gain the skills and knowledge required to dive in a group accompanied by a dive master or Instructor.

The course is taught by qualified experienced instructors using the PADI Open Water handbook

and CD Rom and consists of 2 theory sessions, 2 afternoons in the pool and one dive from our

dive boat. Participants need a medical certificate, the minimum age is ten years old and the award

counts as credits towards the full Open Water course, which allows you to dive to depths of 18m.

The cost of the course includes the handbook, the PADI card and all equipment hire.

SCUBA DIVER PADI

PADI OPEN WATER COURSE

The open water is a complete course introducing you to the principles of scuba diving and the practical skills needed to ensure you dive safely and knowledgably. The Open Water qualification permits you to dive to depths up to 18 metres with a diving buddy, without the supervision of an instructor or dive master.

The course consists of 5 theory sessions of approximately 90 minutes where you learn about the principles of diving and the equipment you will use, with ample ‘hands on’ opportunities to get to know the equipment. The course is taught by qualified and experienced instructors and is based on the PADI Open Water handbook, which is included in the cost of the course and comprises the manual, the computer manual, a video and a diving logbook.

The practical components of the course include sessions in the pool where you will carry out a series of exercises designed to practice your newly acquired diving skills and to become familiar with the diving equipment prior to an open water dive, where you repeat the various drills and qualify as an open water diver. If your last dive was some time ago we suggest you take a short refresher course and do some of the basic exercises in the pool before starting the advanced course.

COURSE ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

The Advanced course is a second level course that enables you to dive to depths of up to 30m.

While you must hold the Open Water qualification or equivalent there is no criteria regarding the number of sea dives you have done: in fact we recommend taking this course immediately after finishing the Open Water level as it helps you to acquire both a greater understanding of the principles of diving and allows you to gain greater experience of real life dives under the supervision of a qualified and experienced instructor.

The Course consists of 5 dives from the dive boat. Each dive is preceded by a video presentation and an introduction by a qualified instructor who will explain the equipment, precautions and specific characteristics of each dive. During the dives, you will complete exercises in orientation, with and without a compass and diving to depth.

The other dives available include wreck diving, multilevel diving, search and rescue and naturalistic dives.
